Out of the 185 Hard Rock Cafes in the world Mike Curran has been to 43 of them. He has even been out of the country visiting Hard Rock Cafes.

“We started going to hard rock cafes because my wife likes hurricane glasses,” Curran said. “Then we just started going to them when we knew one was close to where we were to get more hurricane glass. After that it was just a big snowball effect to get more.”

Every Hard Rock has a wide menu and many options depending on where you are. Curran does not have a favorite meal but a few things are constant at each one.

“They have good hamburgers and sandwiches, but my wife and I will usually just get what we are feeling that day,” Curran said.

Hard rock locations in seventy four countries, expanding over most of the world. Mr. Curran and his wife have traveled all over the country and even out of the country, when they are able to find one close to them they will go.

“We have been to all three in Hawaii, one in Anchorage, Alaska, to the Caribbean, Saint Martins and to the Cayman Islands,” Curran said.

From traveling around the country Curran and his wife have been to some extraordinary Hard Rock Cafes.

“The one in Dallas, Texas, was one of the best, it was in an old church with three stain glass windows,” Curran said. “They were made after singers, the one in the middle was Jimi Hendrix, on the left was Janis Joplin, and the one on the right was Jerry Lee Lewis.”
