“I’ve been lifting seriously for about 8 months now. I would always go off and on by taking a week off then going hard lifting the next. I would say in total for 2 years counting not being consistent. I didn’t like how small I was, I got called a pipsqueak in junior high. I also wasn’t big enough in soccer, I had the skill but needed to put on muscle. It’s pretty hard managing sports, school, and lifting at the same time. But I think there’s a misconception on how lifting takes a long time. You can get a really good workout in just 45 minutes. My biggest regret was if I spent more time lifting and being consistent for that whole 2 years I would be at a way better spot than I am now.”
