Seniors offer advise for incoming students

Many students are finishing their final year at Baldwin High School. As they reflect on their experiences, they share their advice for other high school students
“I am excited to graduate but I know when it comes I will be very emotional,” senior Liz Schrock said.
Schrock is involved in National Honor Society, Lettermen’s Club,Stand up to Cancer, Mardi Gras, softball, is a Yearbook Editor in Chief and is a captain of the volleyball team.
“It is important to be involved in school activities, clubs, and sports,” Schrock said. “You can connect with many people and make a positive difference in the school.”
Many seniors agree with Schrock, and believe that participating in school activities was their favorite part of high school.
“My favorite memory is doing cross country my sophomore year,” senior Lindsey Toot said.
Toot is involved in Art Club and softball. Although Toot believes involvement is important, she advises students to make time for themselves.
“Don’t worry about what people think about you or what you wear or anything like that,” Toot said, “also make time to do what you love to do.”
Everyone’s experiences in high school are different, but most seniors agree that the four years go by fast, and to make the most of them.
“Honestly it doesn’t really seem real right now,” senior Trinity Moody said, “knowing that everything is our last. You don’t realize how fast it goes until you are experiencing your last high school events.”
