WHEN I’M NOT TEACHING: Extraordinary life of Crenshaw

Spending time with family and being outside are the main activities for Baldwin High School teacher Scott Crenshaw. He has taught at BHS for eight years. He currently teaches College Biology and Freshmen Biology.

Crenshaw and his wife enjoy the simple things in life.

“Every Sunday my wife and I go to Hyvee to eat breakfast and then we do our grocery shopping,” Crenshaw said. “After that we go home and while she watches the game I make her hors d’oeuvres.”

Crenshaw loves being outside.

“About all you need to know about me is that I spend every possible moment I get outdoors,” Crenshaw said.

When he is outdoors he enjoys hunting, gardening and taking care of his chickens.

Students love how he always made class fun.

“Honestly, he’s one of my favorite teachers. He’s really funny and he made class fun. Which is really hard to do,” sophomore Kylie O’Brien said.

Past students appreciate Crenshaw’s help.

“Mr. Crenshaw was by far one of my favorite freshman teachers. I like how he helped us, and helped us express ourselves,” sophomore Ryan Wessling said
