JV Girls ready for another winning season

Last basketball season the JV girls only lost one game. They had a lot of talent and quickness.

For sophomore Kaliee Johnson there will be a lot of pressure to be as good as last years JV.

“I hope we do well, we have been practicing really hard. It’s gonna be hard but will be doable,” Johnson said.

The freshman this year will also be a big help to keep the JV going strong.

“Oh yeah the freshman will be a huge help, they have a lot of height and that’s what we really needed,” Johnson said.

For Head JV coach Eric Toot he is very proud to see the girls improving every day at practice.

“They have really improved from the first day of practice to now. The freshman are learning the plays really fast, I think we are going to go far this year,” Toot said.

The JV team also has set good goals this year.

“Of course we want to win league and try to win at all tournaments, but we also wanna get better and be the best we can be by the end of the season,” Toot said.
The first game of the season will start at 4:30 p.m. Dec.4 in the BJHS gym.
