Spring sports here at BHS are in full swing with each team already participating in their first competition.

Girls soccer has played a total of five games so far with a current record of 2-3. Senior Sierra McKinney is hopeful for this 2015 season.

“I’m really excited for the rest of this season we have a lot of potential with new players and returning players from the first game I can see we are going to have a great season,” McKinney said.

BHS track started off their season with the 49th annual BIT. Both the girls and boys teams came out on top with both teams winning the meet.

“I’m excited to continue this season I think that we’re capable of accomplishing a lot of good things,” junior Addison Dick said.

The BHS tennis team has a total of 10 players that went out this year.

“The tennis team has grown exponentially since last year. We are a close and strong team and I believe 2015 will be a great year for us,” sophomore Chris Jackson said.

BHS softball’s current record stands at 2-2. Senior Kassadie Burton is excited about this season.

“I’m excited about this season, we have a great bond as seniors so I know that our positivity will rub off on the other players and coaches.” Burton said.

The boys baseball team’s record is 0-4.

“I think this season is going to be really fun and successful. We have lots of veteran seniors that have played all four years and they are all great leaders and fun to play with,” junior Jackson Barth said.

BHS spring sport teams are all hopeful for this season and all have their own goals to achieve this year.
