It didn’t take the Bulldogs long to establish themselves in the first round of the 2014 Wellsville Top Gun Tournament.

The Bulldogs got on top 14-4 over St. Mary’s after the first quarter and lead 28-9 going into halftime. With 42% field-goal shooting, the Bulldogs were able to play deep into their bench, squashing St.Mary’s with a final score of 56-25. Junior Maddie Ogle led the Bulldogs with 15 points, while senior Katie Jones finished with ten points.

The third-seeded Bulldogs next play second-seeded Piper Pirates at 5:15 p.m. tomorrow in the K.D. Gym at Wellsville High School. The winner will advance to the championship game on Saturday.
