Today in America, 24 million people  are suffering from some type of a eating disorder. Together there are three different types of eating disorders: anorexia, bulimia and binge eating. Eating disorders can be caused by trauma, social issues or control issues.

Girls between 10-18 said that models inspire their body shape. Some said they felt pressure to maintian a certain size. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any other mental illness. Only 10% of people suffering from a eating disorder get some type of treatment.

Depending on how bad the disorder is, depends the treatment. Sometimes it can be simiply solved by adequate nutrition. Sometimes it takes medical monitoring. To start listen to your body and remember not all people look the same.
