Kwik Shop has moved from their previous location 601 Ames street, to the previous location of Santa Fe Market, 522 Ames street.

While it may have only moved a short distance, it is now the only gas station in Baldwin causing some people concern over the prices they may have to pay for gas.

“I prefer the new location because it’s a bit bigger,” senior Harley Stewart said.

Because the new location is the only place to get gas in Baldwin, it tends to be very busy during hours of the day when people are out and about.

“The new location is always packed after school, and I think they may have raised some prices,” Stewart said.

While some students are affected by the change others could care less.

“I just don’t think it’s that big of a deal,” Ben Ogle said.

While the location change may not be interesting for everyone. Most people have high hopes for what will open in the old Kwik Shop building.

“I’d like to see a Dairy Queen open up in Baldwin.” Stewart said. “That would be great.”
No one knows for sure what will come to that building yet, but many have high hopes.
