Homecoming has been around since anyone can remember, in school, in the movies. There are many things involved in the week of homecoming, and many people love getting involved in all of the school spirit.

“I like how it’s a big way for the school to get together and to have fun and get involved with football.” Sophomore Isabel Tiller said.

There are many things leading up to the big game, such as spirit week followed by a school dance after the game. Many people are involved in spirit week, were you have a different theme everyday of the week.

“I’ll be participating in Spirit Week, I think it’s a great way for the student body to get together and have a fun time before the game and to get the football players hyped up.” Sophomore Macey Frost said.

Many plans are underway for this year’s Homecoming, Sophomore Carly Lindenmeyer tells us. They started planning during Stuco Camp this summer coming up with ideas for spirit week.

The homecoming spirit week will start on Sep.19, (themes still to be announced) and the football game will be that Friday night, Sep. 23, followed by the school dance afterwards.
