After coaching the BHS boys soccer team this fall, Andrew Ising has been hired to be the girls coach for this upcoming spring season.

The BHS administration has hired a new head coach for the girls team. Biology teacher and boys soccer coach Andrew Ising recently accepted the job as the varsity girls soccer coach. He will be coaching the girls first game this spring at 4 p.m March 22 at home.

“I waited for Mr. Ising to apply ever since boys soccer season,” freshman Isabel Tiller said. “Because I was a manager, and I was pretty anxious.”

The girls are looking to get stronger physically and mentally.

“I personally am adapting well. I think the team is as well,” Othick said. “We are conditioning now, and I think that the conditioning is building us as a team not only mentally, but physically.”

Most of the girls are feeling positive about having coach Ising this season.

“He is really pushing us to our full potential,” Othick said.

“Learning from a new coach is exciting and good for players,” Tiller said

“He knows what he is doing so he is ready for the season to start with full practice time,”

The girls have goals for the year they hope to achieve with their new coach

“I really want to see our team have a great record this year” Junior Maddie Morgan said.

“I hope to play varsity and maybe start towards the end of the season, I think he will be a good coach and will put me where he knows I work best,” Tiller said.
