The Spotlight is a magazine that is posted three times yearly by the Baldwin High school Journalism staff. This year’s Editor in Chief is Janel Crist. We ask her some questions about The Spotlight and what it really is.

What is the Spotlight?

It is a student magazine that features stories about high school students in Baldwin. It depends on whatever is going on in that season. We have a fall issue, a winter issue, and a spring issue.

Where is it distributed?

We distribute it in places around town and we put some in the library. We give all the employees here in Baldwin a copy.

What can we expect in the latest issue?

We have a story about 4A league sports, we talk about Molly and Mardi Gras a little bit and its been awhile since the iPads came out so were kinda starting that again and seeing how people think it is going with that half way through the year and then we have a short story on Art Club.

Do you enjoy working with the Spotlight?

Yeah, it is a lot of fun, it’s kind of stressful sometimes but it gets done.
