By now everyone has seen or at least heard about Miley Cyrus memorable VMA performance. Teddy Bears and foam fingers will never mean the same thing. The Hannah Montana star has come a long way since her Disney Channel days. Most of us still remember the young actress who charmed her way into the hearts of young girls and their parents everywhere. She has changed drastically from that sweet innocent eleven-year old girl who auditioned for that Disney Channel show, and into a no longer innocent twenty year old pop singer who has become a role model on what not to do when she attempted to make history at this year’s VMAs.

The VMAs are the Video Music Awards that people all over tune in to watch. Although ask almost anyone what they remember most and the answer will most likely be Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke, not which video had the most hits. Cyrus started out in a bear outfit that looked like a group project from Lady Gaga and Madonna, and she had giant Teddy Bears strapped to her backup dancers. After singing her new hit “we can’t stop” she was joined by Thicke.

As Thicke is making his appearance on stage Cyrus does a quick change into a nude colored bikini outfit that leaves nothing to the imagination and her backup dancers lose the giant fluffy bears. They sang blurred lines together in which Cyrus is able to humiliate herself, Thicke and Liam Hemsworth, who she is, for right now, engaged to.

Since the VMAs the couple hasn’t been seen together. Many people have been urging Hemsworth to break up the pop sensation. They are telling him she is too crazy and not good for his career or reputation.  Her attempt at making history at the VMAs might have cost her not only her fans and reputation but also her relationship.
